The 1994 Prisoner of War silver dollar is 1oz. of 90% silver. This coin was minted in the Philadelphia mint. The obverse of the coin presents an eagle with a chain on his talons surrounded by barbed wire the word "Liberty" above and the word "Freedom" to the right and the words "In God We Trust" under the eagle and the date "1994" at the bottom. The reverse of the coin presents the National Prisoner of War at Andersonville, Georgia with the words "E Pluribus Unum United States of America One Dollar" circling the top of the coin and the words "National Prisoner of War Museum" at the bottom of the coin.
